You are here

Be our Guest

Oasis is a SMALL but growing church family that is friendly and enthusiastic and anxious to meet you. We're just regular people who have been touched by a REAL Savior and we think you'll find it REFRESHING to gather with us for worship.

We'd love for you to be our guest and see how our small, real, and refreshing church might be just the place for you!

Here's what to expect:

As you make your way into the building, don't be surprised if there are a few people standing around. They are there to greet you. Nobody will make you feel out of place, or make a big deal about you being there. We're all just the same- no one here is better, or worse, than anyone else.

In the worship service, we don’t ask guests to stand up and introduce themselves or anything like that. In fact, you probably won't be the only new person there. We really do just want you to feel like you belong.  You can relax and enjoy the service as God’s Spirit leads you.

If this will be your first time worshiping with us...

  • Our atmosphere is casual, so you don't have to bother with dressing up.
  • Our music is a blend of contemporary worship music with some classic hymns.
  • Our church is kid-friendly, with nursery provided.
  • Our teaching is biblical and practical. Check it out- http://www.oasisarlington.com/media/podcasts

If you have kids:

We offer a nursery for children younger than 3.  Our dedicated and caring children's workers will take care of your young children so that you may enjoy the service and participate in it without distraction.  For children older than three, we believe it is best for them to be in the service, sharing in the worship experience with their family, and listening to God's Word being preached.  Romans 10:17 says, "Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God."  We want children to come to faith in Jesus, and we believe that will happen as they encounter the Lord through His Word.
